Terms of Use

1. Who you are contracting with

DiscoverSponsors is operated by an independent sole proprietorship (“we”, “us”). We are the party to this agreement, except for payment, which is described in section 3. You can reach us at support@discoversponsors.com.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using DiscoverSponsors you accept these terms. If you use it on behalf of a business, you confirm you can bind that business. If you don't accept a future version of these terms, you can close your account; payments already made are covered by the Refund Policy.

3. Who takes the payment

Orders are processed by Creem (creem.io), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all our orders. It processes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, issues your invoice, and appears on your card statement; its buyer terms, shown at checkout, apply to the purchase alongside these terms. Your receipt says who processed your order and how to contact them directly, and you can always reach us at support@discoversponsors.com.

4. The service

DiscoverSponsors helps YouTube creators find brands that sponsor channels like theirs, review the public evidence of those sponsorships, and manage their own outreach. Sponsorships are detected from public video information retrieved through the official YouTube Data API. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google, and we make no claim on the underlying YouTube content.

DiscoverSponsors uses YouTube API Services. By using DiscoverSponsors you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

5. Plans and billing

The Free plan is free with no card required. Paid plans (Creator and Agency, monthly or yearly) renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. One-time add-ons, such as extra channel slots, are charged once. Current prices are on the pricing page. If we change the price of your plan, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies; an early-adopter price stays locked for as long as you stay subscribed.

6. Refunds

First purchases come with a 14-day money-back guarantee — ask within 14 days and you get a refund, no questions asked, less $2 for each contact reveal beyond the second you used; a purchase with more than five reveals used is not refundable. Refunds are issued by Creem as the Merchant of Record. The Refund Policy sets out renewals, add-ons and how to request one. Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer where you live.

7. Sponsor data and your outreach

Sponsor, channel and contact information comes from public sources and third-party enrichment providers. We show it as accurately as we can and label contact quality honestly, but it can be incomplete or out of date, and we don't guarantee that any brand will reply or sponsor you.

You decide whom to contact and what to send. You are responsible for your messages and for following the email, marketing and data-protection laws that apply to you (for example GDPR and CAN-SPAM). DiscoverSponsors never contacts sponsors on your behalf.

8. Who owns what

We own DiscoverSponsors — the software, the dataset as compiled, the design and the name. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your account is open. The pitches, notes and outreach records you create are yours; we only use them to run the service for you.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-export or resell the database, or share your account to get around plan limits;
• use the service to send spam, harass anyone, or break privacy or marketing laws;
• reverse-engineer the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or interfere with its operation;
• upload malicious content or use the service for anything unlawful or deceptive.

10. Suspension and closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page; this deletes your data and cancels any subscription that would otherwise renew. You can also ask us to do it by emailing support@discoversponsors.com. We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches of section 9, non-payment, or where the law requires it. We will normally warn you first, unless the account is a threat to the service or other users. If we close a paid account without a breach on your part, we refund the unused part of the period.

11. Availability and liability

DiscoverSponsors is a small operation, provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and the data fresh, but we don't offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and features may change as the product develops. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost deals or revenue), and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We will announce material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and update the date at the top of this page. Minor changes, such as clarifications, apply when published.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator is registered, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in and the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
