How to find YouTube sponsors for a car channel (2026)

The eight brands that sponsor the most car channels, the smallest channel each worked with, and where a sponsor fits in a build, review or road-trip video.

Car channels are among the most sponsorable on YouTube, and the sponsors are not who most creators expect. Manufacturers and dealers almost never pay for integrations. The brands that do are the products a car owner buys after the car: dash cams, lighting, floor liners, diagnostics, parts, and the apps that sit on the dashboard.

In the DiscoverSponsors index (more than 81K channels, read through the official YouTube Data API), 66% of automotive channels with 10K–1M subscribers had at least one paid sponsor in the last year. Here is who those sponsors are and how to reach them.

Two dash cam brands sit in the top three, and between them Wolfbox and REDTIGER sponsored more than 160 car channels in a year. A dash cam is the easiest integration in the niche: it mounts on screen, it records the drive the video is already about, and the footage becomes part of the edit. Ottocast and 3W Auto Life are the standouts for smaller channels, with 67% and 54% of their partners under 100K subscribers.

carVertical is the exception in the list: a service, not a product. It sponsors used-car reviews, auction walkthroughs and "I bought a cheap car" videos, where a history report is a natural beat in the story. If your channel buys and sells cars on camera, it is the first brand to pitch.

Where a sponsor fits in a car video

Split your formats into builds, reviews and drives, and list what the viewer buys at each stage. A build video has a parts and tools segment: lighting, liners, parts retailers belong there. A review of a used car has a "what I checked before buying" segment: a history report or a diagnostics scan fits without a script change. A road trip or a track day has the camera already running: a dash cam or a wireless adapter shows itself in use.

The placements that keep their audience explain something the viewer wanted to know anyway. A product dropped into a quiet moment about the car itself loses them.

How to find the ones that fit your channel

  • Start with the brands sponsoring channels your size. Every brand in the table has sponsored a car channel under 30K subscribers, and six of the eight have worked with channels under 14K.
  • Match the format. A detailing channel and a project-car channel attract different brands even inside the same niche. Check which formats a brand's sponsored videos use before you pitch; the automotive sponsor page lists the brands with the videos as evidence, and the US automotive leaderboard ranks them by country.
  • Check the arrangement. A discount code in a description can be an affiliate link rather than a paid integration. Two or three of the brand's sponsored videos will show you which.
  • Look at the general brands too. Incogni, Factor and BetterHelp each sponsored more than 30 car channels in the year. They pay for the audience, not the topic, and they are a good second line once the niche brands are in your pipeline.

Pitch around a project, not a channel

Send the project (the car, the build stage, the trip), the audience (countries, age bands, typical views on comparable videos), the planned video, and the exact moment the product appears. Say when you need a decision and why, for instance because the part has to arrive before the next shoot. Build the video so it works without the deal; a brand's interest is not a confirmed partnership.

For matches ranked by your own channel's size, language and niche, add your channel. For the general method, see how to find sponsors for your YouTube channel.

About the data

Counts are distinct automotive-tagged channels with 10K–1M subscribers and a paid sponsored video published in the last year, from public video information retrieved through the official YouTube Data API. Sponsored means the description or paid-promotion disclosure names the brand that paid for the integration; affiliate-only placements are excluded. Subscriber counts are current. A detected sponsorship is not confirmation of contract terms.
