How to find YouTube sponsors for a travel channel (2026)
The eight brands that sponsor the most travel channels, the smallest channel each worked with, and where a sponsor fits inside a trip video.

Travel is one of the biggest niches on YouTube and one of the most sponsorable, but not in the way most creators expect. The brands that sponsor travel channels are rarely airlines or hotels. They are the products a viewer needs before and during a trip: connectivity, security, luggage, bookings.
In the DiscoverSponsors index (562K sponsored videos across 55K channels, read through the official YouTube Data API), 60.1% of travel channels with 10K–1M subscribers had at least one sponsor in the last 14 months. Here is who those sponsors are and how to reach them.
The brands that sponsor the most travel channels
| Brand | What it sells | Travel channels sponsored | Smallest channel sponsored | Share of those channels under 100K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saily | Travel eSIM | 237 | 1.1K subs | 35% |
| Airalo | Travel eSIM | 188 | 1.4K subs | 51% |
| Holafly | Travel eSIM | 147 | 1.1K subs | 51% |
| BetterHelp | Online therapy | 135 | 7.0K subs | 29% |
| Surfshark | VPN | 132 | 2.3K subs | 37% |
| NordVPN | VPN | 92 | 3.2K subs | 34% |
| LEVEL8 | Luggage | 92 | 1.2K subs | 77% |
| Klook | Activity bookings | 77 | 1.5K subs | 36% |
Three of the top eight are eSIM brands, and between them they sponsored more than 570 travel channels. Connectivity is the natural sponsor of a trip video: the creator lands, needs data, and can show the product working in the first minute of the story. LEVEL8 is the standout for small channels: 77% of the travel channels it sponsored have fewer than 100K subscribers, and it has worked with a channel of 1.2K.
Where a sponsor fits in a trip video
Divide the trip into preparation, arrival and time on the ground, and list the problems your viewer will ask about at each stage: what to pack, how to get around, how to stay connected, what to book ahead. Each answer is a natural placement, and each maps to a brand type above: luggage in the packing segment, an eSIM or VPN at arrival, a bookings platform where you plan an activity.
A placement that explains something the viewer needed to know anyway keeps its audience. A placement dropped into a quiet moment about a place and its people loses it.
How to find the ones that fit your channel
- Start with the brands sponsoring channels your size. Every brand in the table has sponsored a travel channel under 3.5K subscribers; the ones with a high "under 100K" share (LEVEL8, Airalo, Holafly) are the most open to small creators.
- Match the format. A city break, a family road trip and a long stay serve different viewers. Check which formats a brand's sponsored videos use before you pitch; the travel sponsor page lists the brands with the videos as evidence, and the travel leaderboards rank them by country.
- Check the arrangement. An eSIM discount code in a description can be an affiliate link rather than a paid integration. Two or three of the brand's sponsored videos will show you which.
Pitch while the plan can still change
Send the route, the audience (countries, age bands, typical views on comparable videos), the planned video, and where the product would appear. Say when you need a decision and why, for instance because you need the product before departure. Build the trip so it works without the deal; a brand's interest is not a confirmed partnership.

About the data
Counts are distinct travel-tagged channels with a sponsored video published from July 2025 to September 2026, from public video information retrieved through the official YouTube Data API. Sponsored means the description or paid-promotion disclosure names the brand that paid for the integration. Subscriber counts are current. A detected sponsorship is not confirmation of contract terms.
