How to find YouTube sponsors for a tech channel (2026)

The eight brands sponsoring the most tech channels, how small a channel each has worked with, and why the project, not the review, is the pitch that lands.

Tech and gadgets is the second-largest niche in the DiscoverSponsors index and one of the friendliest to small creators. Of tech channels with 10K–1M subscribers, 64.9% had at least one sponsor in the last 14 months, and the brands doing the sponsoring start remarkably low: every one of the top eight has sponsored a tech channel under 5K subscribers. The index covers 562K sponsored videos across 55K channels, read through the official YouTube Data API.

These are hardware brands, and hardware brands sponsor demonstrations. PCBWay is the clearest example: 74% of the tech channels it sponsors are under 100K, because a maker channel with 5K subscribers showing a board being built is exactly the placement it wants. UGREEN sponsored more than 200 tech channels; accessories fit into almost any setup video.

The project comes first

The tech pitch that lands is not "I review gadgets." It is a project: building a home server, setting up a mobile filming rig, wiring a workshop. A project gives the product a job (the hub that connects the rig, the desk the workshop is built on, the drone that films the result) and gives the brand a demonstration instead of a read. Choose a problem worth filming, find the product's role in solving it, and plan what you can show honestly, including what did not work.

How to find the ones that fit your channel

  • Every brand above has sponsored a channel under 5K subscribers; the "under 100K" share tells you who does it routinely (PCBWay, FlexiSpot, OBSBOT, UGREEN).
  • Match the product to your content, not your niche label. A drone brand wants outdoor and filmmaking content; a PCB manufacturer wants makers. The tech sponsor page lists each brand with the sponsored videos as evidence, and the tech leaderboards rank them by country.
  • Check whether a brand sends product or pays. Many hardware sponsorships on small channels are product-only; decide which you want before you pitch.

Write a project brief before the pitch

One page: the project, the audience (countries, age bands, typical views on comparable videos), the product's role, what you will demonstrate, the timeline, and what you need from the brand. A brand can picture a brief; it cannot picture "a mention".

For matches ranked by your own channel's size, language and niche, add your channel. For the general method, see how to find sponsors for YouTube in 2026.

About the data

Counts are distinct tech-tagged channels with a sponsored video published from July 2025 to September 2026, from public video information retrieved through the official YouTube Data API. Sponsored means the description or paid-promotion disclosure names the brand that paid for the integration. Subscriber counts are current. A detected sponsorship is not confirmation of contract terms.
