How to find YouTube sponsors for a DIY or home channel (2026)
The eight brands sponsoring the most home and DIY channels, the smallest channel each worked with, and how to turn your next project into the pitch.

Home and DIY channels sit in the middle of the sponsorship table: in the DiscoverSponsors index (562K sponsored videos across 55K channels, read through the official YouTube Data API), 60.9% of home and DIY channels with 10K–1M subscribers had a sponsor in the last 14 months, and sponsored channels in the niche work with about six brands each, one of the higher counts on YouTube. The reason is simple: a project video demonstrates products for its whole length.
The brands that sponsor the most home and DIY channels
| Brand | What it sells | Home/DIY channels sponsored | Smallest channel sponsored | Share of those channels under 100K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quince | Clothing and home goods | 89 | 10.1K subs | 29% |
| FlexiSpot | Standing desks | 62 | 3.3K subs | 45% |
| Lowe's | Home improvement retail | 59 | 22.9K subs | 15% |
| Temu | Online marketplace | 56 | 1.5K subs | 61% |
| BetterHelp | Online therapy | 53 | 16.7K subs | 30% |
| Incogni | Data removal | 47 | 22.9K subs | 15% |
| BLUETTI | Portable power stations | 46 | 7.0K subs | 35% |
| Wildgrain | Bake-at-home box | 37 | 31.1K subs | 22% |
The brands that start smallest are the ones whose product appears in the work: Temu (61% of its home partners are under 100K), FlexiSpot (a desk in the workshop) and BLUETTI (power for a job site or an off-grid build). Lowe's and Incogni mostly work with channels above 20K.
Start with the work you already intend to do
Your next project is the pitch. List what it needs (tools, materials, power, the furniture that ends up in the finished room) and match each to a brand whose sponsored videos show the same kind of work. A power station running the tools on an off-grid build is a demonstration; the same brand read out over the finished deck is an ad.
Make room for the messy middle. Brands in this niche have seen enough project videos to know that the honest version, with the mistake and the fix, holds an audience better than the highlight reel. Say in the brief that you will show the product in real use.
How to find the ones that fit your channel
- Lead with brands whose smallest sponsored channel is below your size. Temu, FlexiSpot and BLUETTI have all sponsored home channels under 7K subscribers.
- Check the format. Renovation, woodworking, smart home and decor attract different sponsors; the home and DIY sponsor page lists each brand with the sponsored videos as evidence.
- Home channels overlap with tech, outdoor and sustainability. Those niches' sponsors (power stations, tools, solar) are often the same companies with larger budgets.
Give the brand a brief it can picture
One page: the project, the audience (countries, age bands, typical views on comparable videos), the product's role and when it appears, the timeline, and what you need. Send it before you start, so the product can arrive in time to be part of the work.
For matches ranked by your own channel's size, language and niche, add your channel. For the general method, see how to find sponsors for YouTube in 2026.
About the data
Counts are distinct home/DIY-tagged channels with a sponsored video published from July 2025 to September 2026, from public video information retrieved through the official YouTube Data API. Sponsored means the description or paid-promotion disclosure names the brand that paid for the integration. Subscriber counts are current. A detected sponsorship is not confirmation of contract terms.
