How to find YouTube sponsors for a cooking channel (2026)

Cooking is one of the hardest niches to get sponsored. The eight brands that sponsor the most cooking channels, who starts small, and where a sponsor fits.

By DiscoverSponsors · 3 min read

Cooking is one of the largest niches on YouTube and one of the least sponsored. In the DiscoverSponsors index (562K sponsored videos across 55K channels, read through the official YouTube Data API), only 42.5% of cooking channels with 10K–1M subscribers had a sponsor in the last 14 months, against 65–85% in gear and software niches. The audience is valuable; the brands that fit it are fewer and pickier. That makes the shortlist matter more, not less.

The kitchen brands are the ones to notice. Cosori has sponsored a cooking channel of 1.4K subscribers and 70% of its cooking partners are under 100K; Typhur starts at 2.3K. They sponsor small channels because a recipe video demonstrates the product for the whole runtime. The general-audience brands at the top (BetterHelp, Zocdoc) buy reach and mostly work with larger channels.

Follow the routine from shopping to cleanup

A cooking sponsor fits where the viewer already makes a buying decision: the grocery order (Thrive Market), the appliance the recipe depends on (Cosori, Typhur), the ingredient box (Wildgrain). Walk through your own video from shopping to plating and note each decision; those are your placements. A brand shown doing its job in the recipe is a demonstration. A brand read out over the finished dish is an ad.

How to find the ones that fit your channel

  • Start with the brands whose smallest sponsored channel is below your size, and lead with that fact in the pitch.
  • Match the kind of cooking. Meal-prep, baking, regional cuisine and restaurant-style channels attract different sponsors; check which formats a brand's sponsored videos use on the cooking sponsor page, which lists each brand with the videos as evidence.
  • Pitch the adjacent niches too. Cooking channels often also fit home and DIY or sustainability, where the sponsorship rate is 15 to 25 points higher.

Build the proposal around a useful video

Send a specific recipe or series, the audience (countries, age bands, typical views on comparable videos), where the product appears and what you will demonstrate. Keep the promises to what you can deliver: you can show the appliance working, not guarantee it suits every kitchen.

For matches ranked by your own channel's size, language and niche, add your channel. For the general method, see how to find sponsors for YouTube in 2026.

About the data

Counts are distinct cooking-tagged channels with a sponsored video published from July 2025 to September 2026, from public video information retrieved through the official YouTube Data API. Sponsored means the description or paid-promotion disclosure names the brand that paid for the integration. Subscriber counts are current. A detected sponsorship is not confirmation of contract terms.
